About this app
This app (“The Cheeky Beans”) lets you order food and drinks ahead of time from The Cheeky Beans café in Port Melbourne, Victoria. By using this app you agree to these terms.
Ordering & pickup
- Orders are for pickup only. You select a pickup time and collect from our Port Melbourne store.
- We hold completed orders for 10 minutes past the pickup time. After that we may need to remake your order.
- Menu items and prices may change without notice. The price shown at checkout is the price you pay.
- All prices are in Australian dollars (AUD) and include GST.
Payments
- Payments are processed securely by Square. We never see or store your card details.
- A 1.1% card surcharge applies on weekends and public holidays, as displayed at checkout.
- Charges appear on your statement as “THE CHEEKY BEANS”.
Refunds & cancellations
- Once your order enters the kitchen, it cannot be cancelled through the app.
- If something is wrong with your order, let our staff know at the counter and we’ll make it right.
- Refunds for payment errors or duplicate charges are processed back to your original payment method within 5–10 business days.
- Australian Consumer Law guarantees apply. Nothing in these terms limits your statutory rights.
Loyalty program
- Every coffee you buy earns 1 stamp. After 9 stamps, you earn a free coffee.
- Free coffees are credited automatically and can be redeemed on your next order.
- Stamps and free coffees have no cash value and cannot be transferred.
- We may modify or end the loyalty program with reasonable notice.
Your account
- You sign in with a magic link sent to your email — no password needed.
- You’re responsible for keeping your email account secure. Anyone with access to your email can sign in to your Cheeky Beans account.
- You can delete your account at any time from your profile page. This immediately removes your personal data.
Allergies & dietary requirements
We display allergen information based on standard ingredients. However, our kitchen handles nuts, gluten, dairy, eggs, and other allergens. Cross-contamination is possible. If you have a serious allergy, please speak to our staff before ordering.
Availability
We aim to keep the app running smoothly but can’t guarantee 100% uptime. If the app is down, you can always order at the counter. We’re not liable for losses caused by app downtime.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Victoria, Australia. Any disputes are subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of Victoria.
